Fight Like a Girl, and Win

Someone once said that the minute you decide to fight your cancer after diagnosis, you can call yourself a survivor. On October 21, 2011, during surgery my “funny-looking” appendix was removed. On October 24, 2011, after hearing that my pathology report revealed it was a carcinoid tumor, I became a survivor.

    You would be the first person I would want on my side. No one has ever been brave enough to tell a NICU nurse no but once. Phases let "you can't do that" or " it's never been done before" just get us started. You've got this girl. Now let's go kick some carcinoid ass!!!
